About the Cottage

The Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen (with complimentary teas & coffee), casual dining area, living room with wood stove, two bathrooms (one with shower, one with a spa tub) and a covered porch. The living room, dining room and kitchen are a bright, open floor plan and fully tiled. The two queen bedrooms have wooden floors and large windows. Additionally, the living room has a futon couch that folds into a double bed, as well as several other chairs and a small library. All rooms have great views of the surrounding hills and woods. All linens are provided.

The 66 acre property affords visitors opportunities for biking highways and back roads (and nearby rails-to-trails bike trails), hiking our trails through prairies, woodlands and hills, as well as birding and star-gazing the wide-open evening skies.

Nearby are art galleries, restaurants, shops and many opportunities for driving scenic roads along the Mississippi or back country into the hills of The Driftless Region of Western Wisconsin. Seasonal art tours, The Stockholm Art Fair and other activities abound throughout The Mississippi Valley region along and near Lake Pepin.

Massage and energy therapy sessions are available on site.
